In 1982, hired by National Securities & Research Corp (NYC) in sales which paved my way for a career in investment product, senior sales and management positions with several of the industry’s premier investment management firms.Experience encompassed institutional and wholesale channels encompassing Equity strategies, REITS, MLP’s, and private securities.In the 1990’s at Alliance Capital , co-led the development of the Variable Insurance Trusts & Sub-advisory businesses as National Sales Manager and Product development. Partnered with 2 premier insurance companies (AIG & Skandia-Prudential) creating industry first proprietary variable annuities for Merrill Lynch Asset Management (Trilogy) and Paine Webber/Mitchell Hutchins (Paradigm).Additionally pursued the introduction of Alliance’s strategies to insurance and mutual fund companies. The evolution of this business later became coined as the “Sub-Advisory” industry. AUM grew to $40 billion. From 2010 to 2020, developed the Sub-Advisory and Mutual fund business for Westwood Holdings Group (WHG), to multi-billion AUM with mandates from prestigious companies such as Principal Financial, Macquarie, State Farm; RBC U.S.; RBC Canada; National Bank of Canada; Pictet Asset Management (Switzerland).Ever grateful to icons in the business that mentored me; the portfolio managers and work colleagues at Westwood and Alliance Capital in all departments whom counseled me and the patience and hard work from the fantastic sales and professional staff working for me ;
