Typically I developed the architect’s concept drawings into detailed ceiling layouts along with accompanying sectional detail drawings, which were issued for client approval. My position as Projects Draughtsman involved me designing bespoke acoustic structures for the three regional sales offices. Design work was detailed using Bentley Systems MicroStation. Once approved, the construction drawings were sent to our head office to be manufactured.I was also responsible for creating technical brochures / data sheets with an array of software packages. As well as giving software support to the whole company.
