A sports & musical background combined with a degree that taught me how to use computers, supersceded by a desire to organise (and create) events.Created a festival called Wakestock and enjoyed developing it to become the Worlds largest wakeboard music festival. Original in Abersoch, North Wales with spin offs at Blenheim Palace and Abu Dhabi.During this time I also launched the Abersoch Magazine which is still going strong, now known as Abersoch Life supported by a strong website and social media following. Also published the UK Alliance Wakeboard Magazine for 7 years, 2 wakeboard film trips to South Africa and Dominican Republic, created the first european wakeboard pool gap, imported the 'System 2' linear cable tow system.A couple of blindsided business decisions eventually led to losing Wakestock with a full exit in Jan 2011. This followed by a passionate push with a new festival called Glass Butter Beach, which had a slow start but got to a great place in 2016 before the weather stopped it in its tracks!Focus turned to running events having launched the Abersoch 10k in 2009 and was growing strong, joined by a half marathon in 2014 and triathlon in 2016 to create the Abersoch Triple Crown. 2018 I launched THE ROC, an endurance triathlon with a unique 5 stage format including the country's highest mountain at the heart of the race. This now takes place in 3 countries, its credibility and prospects are strong and is growing fast!
