Hi everyone.I'm working for Dawn Meats in Waterford at the minute and have been since March 2016. I started with the company as a General Operative and worked my way up to Team Leader in the Packaging Area with a small team of 4, from there I became a Trainee Manager. My position now within the company is Production Shift Manager. I've been in this role since October 2018. There's 12 members of staff on my shift. Main objectives for myself are that I'm hitting my KPI's and targets each week/month, being responsible for the daily yields, cost, downtime, PPI, 6S and that all my staff trained and as per the SOPs, while also ensuring the quality of the product stays at a high standard and ensuring we are audit ready each day. I’ve also been involved in many Kaizens, Lean/A3 projects that have taken place and led on my own project for my college course in Lean Fundamentals.In years gone by I was a Lifeguard in Faithlegg House Hotel here in Waterford but due to a torn ACL while playing soccer I put my swimming days behind me.
