As Chartered Accountant I was fortunate to work in a variety of Accounting firms large and small. Working in audit and tax provides a wealth of knowledge. I then moved into Business Development work assisting a small group of clients grow their business.My Business Development work lead to owning businesses and being a shareholder. I sold my Accounting business in 2002 moving to a CEO role with TME Group Pty Ltd.The management team at TME Group Pty Ltd was instrumental in growing the business from a regional WA based business to a international player in mining services. We sold the business to Outotec in 2012 with offices in Geraldton, Perth, Kalgoorlie, Hobart, Cairns, Johannesburg and had just started working from Santiago. TME employed over 450 staff and operated in Australia, Africa, South East Asia, China, South America and Europe.I am now involved to three business;Twomeys IMR Pty Ltd, A mine service company providing Mill reline services, labor hire and fabrication services.Southern Cross Trading (Africa), A Mine service Company providing Mill Reline, Labor hire and consumable sales. Southern Cross Trading has also developed an exciting new product to live monitor the wear of a Mill liner. Testing of the product is being done at present in South Africa and Australia.Dysons Business Consultants Pty Ltd, Chartered Accountant, providing taxation, business and management advice.
