Have been responsible for helping move the project from ant to maven for build software. Am currently working on automated testing of web interface with python, behave and selenium.

Currently, Chemical Process Database (CPD), a Java/AngularJS using JPA web which allows for querying of chemical, equipment and process database results can then be pushed to Slice database. Supported 8 imagery scientists primarily write python scripts that automate data downloads and collections that are needed for R&D work. Converting MATHLAB and IDL code to python, for both wider use of code by community. As part of conversion have moved some algorithms such that the algorithm either uses Hadoop streaming or multiple parallel python scripts processing depending on what is available. Toolkit is designed such that any algorithm can be run local single or multi threads or Hadoop, map reduce. Setup and configured a 4 node Hadoop system for testing and algorithm development.

Helped maintained on JAVA based web server which integrated multiple system for easier tasking and querying by users. Created PIMA (Plugin Mini Api) web store as prototype for App Store like interface for Image Processing systems. GeoInt Mission Management Interface (Mission Execution Tracking and Planning Of Analysis) responsible for the reports section which was written in Adobe Actionscript 3.0 using Coldfusion and Oracle as SQL back end. NSG Protralay registry web site which use JSP. Currently working on web servers that uses spring mvc. Refactored one server to simplify and to use both pooling of command objects and caching of external connections. Secondary server add security to login interface. For both servers wrote unit tests.

Software Engineer, responsible for the reworking of Java spatial database component for ISR(Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance) task force GMTI (Ground Moving Target Indicator) data warehouse services software this included the design the spatial database and writing generic query interface. Prototyped a Hadoop version of database query which parsed the GMTI files and then used map and reduce to find Dots and Dwells in a given region. Add STING(Statistical information Grid) data mining to find clusters in GMTI data.

Responsible for continuing development of in house C# software tool JASPAR(Joint Sensing and Parametric Repository) which was used evaluate Trade Spaces in Electronic Warfare simulations. Development responsibility include GUI, database, spatial indexing (KD­Tree) and software code maintenance. Development team using an Agile methodology when maintaining and enhancing software.

C++ and Java development services based MSP(Mensuration Service Program) which is to replace Ruler, JTW(Joint Targeting Workstation) and GEOTRANS. Lead on the Hardcopy service that provides interfaces to the comparator and datablock reader. Also was lead designer for MSP Java GUI. MSP used a SOA approach when exposing library interfaces.Modified Ruler Java GUI adding new functionality based upon new program requirements and change requests. Reworked Ruler’s Software CM system from a primarily command line system into a web based system. Set up internal Web using Apache and Tomcat. Implemented, internal customer web sites using Cold Fusion and Ajax for uploading/downloading software modules, and Imagery analysis web site.

C++ software development, brought prototype software to deliverable code. Wrote a linear programming interface to CPLEX that uses C++ operators allowing programmers to input linear program by writing constraints rather than having to deal with rows and column. Rewrote in house C++ mapping software interface. Developed bar chart interface and mapping interface that displayed database data in various ways. Developed, a C++ event based simulator for testing of project software.

Responsible for rewrite of XML connector for Geneva/J from C++ and Snap to pure Java implementation which allowed user to import, DTD or Schema’s to create Java runtime class that are used for import and export of XML data. EPI C++ Java reflection API used by development conversion tools to read Java class and jar files for development, java compiler interface used by EPI development tool work is primarily self directed development and maintained. Previously, was responsible for Geneva CORBA Proxy and XML Connectors.

AT&T CADM Division working on the Middleware product resided between billing and accounts clients used Oracle 7.3 database. Clients accessed database using product and DECmessaging.
