    Project Manager
    Slb May 2022 - Present
    Houston, Texas, Us
As Project Manager for the Multicycle System for Actuated Response (MSAR) project, I led the development and commercialization of this cutting-edge production technology. MSAR was recognized as Best Production Technology at the Gulf Energy Excellence Awards 2024. Involved since 2019, my role spanned design, hands-on testing, and project leadership.Key Contributions:-Led hydraulic and mechanical design of MSAR, optimizing system performance.-Conducted articular exploration and selected key components for integration.-Managed cross-functional teams, budgets, and timelines for project delivery.-Oversaw hands-on assembly and field testing of the MSAR tool.-Played a key role in commercializing the technology, ensuring alignment with market needs.
  • Slb
    Senior Mechanical Engineer
    Slb Mar 2018 - Present
    Houston, Texas, Us
Designed electromechanical downhole tools for use in coiled tubing operations. The project won "2021 World Oil award "Best Well Intervention Technology Award– ACTive Power CT Real-Time Powered Downhole Measurements System". I developed new hardware and processes for installing cables into coiled tubing, designed new surface and downhole equipment to support new cables, and designed new electrical connectors to resist corrosion in contaminated environment. I conducted testing and created documentation in support of manufacturing and certifying use for equipment in Europe (CE) and for offshore deplotyment.
  • Slb
    Mechanical Engineer
    Slb Feb 2014 - Present
    Houston, Texas, Us
For Schlumberger's flagship coiled tubing service, I designed new downhole tools and performed stress calculations. I tested these tools for resistance to downhole conditions and led manufacturing efforts to build new tools for field locations
  • Vanderbilt University
    Graduate Student
    Vanderbilt University Sep 2007 - Dec 2013
    Nashville, Tennessee, Us
Designed, constructed, modeled, and controlled multiple engines/compressorsMathematically modeled electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsWrote closed loop controllers with Matlab (XPC and Windows Realtime Target)Designed and constructed signal conditioning circuitry with printed PCBExtensively utilized modern and classical control theoryExcellent with ProE/SolidworksSupervised undergraduate students
  • Nasa
    Nasa Intern
    Nasa Jun 2006 - Aug 2008
    Washington, Dc, Us
During three internships at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, I tested new materials to be used on the Ares 1 crew launch vehicle. During this time I fabricated a wide variety of composite samples included carbon fiber, polyethylene fiber, fiberglass, and sandwich composites. I performed various tests on these samples to determine their suitability for use on the spacecraft capable of travelling to Mars. Tests included micro-meteorite resistance, liquid oxygen compatibility, re-entry capability and various tensile and compression tests.
  • South Dakota School Of Mines And Technology
    Undergraduate Research Assistant
South Dakota School Of Mines And Technology Sep 2005 - May 2007
    Rapid City, Sd, Us
Designed and fabricated deformable fast-steering mirror using micro-electromechanical systems. Designed, built, and manned testing apparatus.
  • Goodrich
    Stress Engineer Intern
    Goodrich Jan 2005 - Aug 2005
    Charlotte, Nc, Us
I performed stress analysis on different cargo components for the Airbus A-380 and Boeing 787. This consisted of performing a wide variety of structural analyses and producing documents to certify that the appropriate analyses had been completed. While performing stress analysis, I also helped to improve the components by working with designers to minimize unnecessary stress concentrations and lighten components where possible. During this time I used various industry guidelines such as the Lockheed stress manual or Roark’s stress manual, standard free body analysis, and finite element analysis. I also worked with a senior stress engineer to write a macro for Ansys that allowed several differing tests to be simulated autonomously and simultaneously.
