I am a partner in the corporate department at Brabners and head of the Liverpool corporate team. I have nearly 25 years of experience in corporate and commercial transactions, in particular: 1.Transactional Work: I have a good reputation in corporate transactional work, including mergers and acquisitions, MBOs, MBIs, VIMBOs and VIMBIs acting for buyers, sellers, funders and management. 2. Structures: I have expertise in setting up complex corporate and contractual structures and unregulated collective investment schemes incorporating LPs, LLPs or other partnering, joint venture or joint investment structures. 3.Sectors: I have experience in the supply chain sector, with particular reference to ports. I have experience in the technology sector, particularly at early and growth stages. I have experience in the waste and renewables sector.I am a member of the firm's management board, where I can help to drive forward the firm's three year strategy whilst embedding our purpose and values into the business. We are well positioned and are in exciting times for the business, with 3 strong years of growth and the opening of new offices.I am the partner in the firm charged with building our sector approach to the market and am an active member of the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Sector and Technology Sector.I am a on the board of trustees of the Eleanor Rathbone Charitable Trust, a trust set up by Eleanor Rathbone which funds Merseyside charities and certain national and international charities, with about £350,000 to apply per annum. I am a director (and founder) of Baltic Ventures Limited, a new, highly ambitious tech accelerator based in Liverpool. We are now fully funded, have a full time team and are launching, with our expected first cohort to start in September 2023.I am on the steering board of the LCR Angel Network, having been one of the founders of this angel network based in Liverpool. We have funding committed to professionalise and run the network for the next 5 years.
