Employing 6,000 professionals in the US and Canada.Procurement: Manager, Gas Control & Contracts, 2010 to Present -Manage the procurement and contracting process in the United States and Canada for Natural Gas for the world’s largest fertilizer enterprise, with budgetary responsibility for $400MM USD+ annually. -Followed all internal processes and procedures for Global Procurement as well as all federal and state regulatory guidelines in a highly complex regulated environment.-Manage and Negotiate contracts with Vendors ranging from Confidentiality Agreements and Guaranties to full operating and purchase agreements.-Created and manage an excel based system that tracked all contractual and non- contractual expenditures and discounts for the Raw Materials Department, which has allowed the company to purchase and /sell raw materials at advantageous pricing; which has resulted in annual savings over the last three years of $10- $12MM USD annually in Natural Gas and transportation costs.-Deep understanding of the true impact great procurement policy and great personnel can have on the underlying bottom line for the business-Manage the RFP and RFQ process for all Raw Materials
