Having spent over 20 years in public education as a teacher and administrator, frustration remains but hope builds for a future of individualized personal learning for every child. The day is coming where learning takes precedence over time as our students make their way, each at his/her own pace, through a relevant and rigorous curriculum.We have been active at MNW in the integration of technology into our curriculum. Each child in grades 3-12 has a laptop, with pre-k through 2 having access to Ipads. Courses 9-12 have an online blended format, negating the need for textbooks. We utilize a personalized online teaching tool to supplement math and reading in grades 3-6.
