Did two consecutive experiences including my student teaching with 2nd graders. I was given a great opportunity from my mentor teacher to try and do anything with the curriculum standards...I learned a lot through trial and error, but was able to bond with the children quickly to get them to do more than I had thought possible. Implemented a computer based math (XtraMath.com) that the principal allowed me to set up for the entire school 1st-6th. Wonderful school....
