Boundless Books is a book writing program designed to cultivate creativity and teambuilding in elementary classrooms. Founded by local radio personality and children’s book author, Mark Eischen, the program consists of six to eight visits that take place over a six week period. During that time, Mr. Eischen guides the students through the production of their own professionally published children’s book. The students develop a storyline, create original characters, draw all the illustrations and eventually publish their own full color book. During the final classroom visit, each student receives a copy of the book, in which they are fully accredited in text and in the author’s picture. The book is then available for purchase at amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com and other online retailers. A portion of any profits from the sale of the book go directly to the school. We have published three books to date and are excited to continue work this school year.

Illustrations by Erica Landers. "Donnie the Doubtful Dung Beetle" is a rhyming children's book with full color illustrations by Greg Warmbrodt. Ideal for children from ages 5-10, this humorous story is designed to entertain parents and children alike. I am lucky enough to be a part of the #1 morning show in Syracuse. I join the Ted and Amy show (WNTQ 93.1 Syracuse) in studio every Thursday morning. It's one of the great highlights of my week. And they keep inviting me back, so I must be doing something right.

I oversee a group of independent writers and producers to provide advertising content for a marketing / video production firm. I am responsible for storyboarding and scripting television commercials and long form corporate marketing videos.

I worked with businesses in the Greater Syracuse market to design and implement effective advertising campaigns across television and digital platforms. I enjoy applying my Creative background to help my clients reach their customers in innovative ways.

I created radio marketing campaigns, including original copy, for local and national advertisers in the Syracuse, NY market. I prospected local businesses and built solid relationships with local decision-makers, as well as worked with technical media buyers on a national scale.

I worked in conjunction with on-air and sales departments to plan and implement promotional events; Designed campaigns to benefit clients and further stations' presence in market; supervised staff of 10-15 promotional technicians; coordinated event scheduling; maintained remote broadcasting equipment, station vehicles, etc.

Hands down, the best job I ever had. At least up to that point. Maybe ever. I lived on-site with my dog at one of the most breathtaking outdoor ampitheatres in the country. I supervised a crew of 8-10 people, charged with keeping the grounds beautiful and making sure things went smoothly for the many concerts. It only lasted for a long Summer, but it was an experience I will never forget.
