• Working alongside other engineers, maintenance crews, contractors, adjacent city divisions, and other utilities on the design, inspection, installation, and finalization of watermain replacements. Including multiple.
• Working on the replacement of cast-Iron mains with ductile iron as large as 20", the CIPP lining of cast-iron and steel mains as large as 36" and the inline inspection of steel mains upwards of 78". Also minimal.
• Working on improving and transitioning workflow to Cityworks as well as the training of both office staff and maintenance crews on the software. Conducted weekly meetings and training sessions for maintenance foremen.
• Aiding in the yearly selection of projects by analyzing 70+ years of main break data and selecting high-risk and high-priority mains to be replaced, lined, or inspected.
• Assisting in the training of new engineers and engineering techs.
• Taking on some responsibilities of the Engineering Manager when the position was vacated; including: Small cell permits, communication permits, training of new Engineer I's, project oversight and coordination for the.
