State Street acquired the previous company I worked for (Investors Bank & Trust). The transition period was positive and I was able to transfer many learned skills to the new position. While at State Street, I studied for my MBA at Northeastern and gained additional accounting and financial knowledge to apply to my ever changing roles within the company. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to manage and train other employees, engage in specialized task forces designed to increase our department's performance, become proficient in many different financial software applications, and further my personal skills through client engagement.
