Since early 2013, my primary focus was Gartner’s Tylina Foods brand of specialty baking products, such as the Duff Goldman line of baking mixes, decor.

Collaborate with Creative Director to establish the look and feel of large scale, themed product lines. Design and illustrate a diverse range of products aimed at the scrapbooking and papercraft market. Products include pattern papers, die-cut ephemera, stickers, stamps, albums, fabrics, and packaging. Additional responsibilities include pre-press file.

• Created a wide variety of educational and decorative products for the classroom and other learning environments. Product families included activity books, games, bulletin board sets, stickers, flash cards, trimmers.
• Collaborated with educational content and marketing teams to design relevant, contemporary, and age-appropriate materials for Pre-School through High School students.
• Assisted with marketing and sales materials such as catalog covers, trade show displays, and sales presentations.

• Worked with producers and engineers to develop art concepts on educational software products.
• Created characters, character animation, set design, backgrounds and interface artwork through the use of traditional and computer-based graphics and animation tools.
• Served on a long-term project as an Art Lead, where I provided art direction and training as well as maintaining aggressive timelines.

Co-managed all aspects of design and production for a wide variety of child-focused products andpromotions for Mello Smello’s four internal divisions. Prior to my art director position, I served as a Staff Cartoonist/Designer (March 1990 through December 1994), designing and illustrating products, promotions and POP displays from concept through printing.
