Through my career, I have had the privilege of working with a broad range of companies and developing my skills as an engineer and analytical researcher. Ranging from cutting edge research equipment and analytical techniques to the integration of heritage and modern paper making equipment - I have had the opportunity to learn a great deal regarding practical skills and troubleshooting. These environments have fostered my curiosity when it comes to problem solving; I have a genuine enthusiasm to develop and improve the knowledge and performance of the systems I work with and share this with others.Some highlights from my career so far:- Developing from the ground-up software packages (VBA/SQL) to track FSC grade pulp through the process to facilitate development of new certified products at the paper machine.- Understanding and remediating bottlenecks in recycled water systems, earning an international spot for presenting my work to the companies Japanese HQ.- Publishing immunological articles as a first author describing the role of transcription factors in the (mis)management of leukocyte behaviour.- Chair on a 1000+ employee MHF facility companies steering committee regarding permits and safety around the plant.- Developing and implementing new functional products on the paper machine through the utilisation of new chemistriesMy best work is completed when I have genuine interest and enjoyment in the tasks I plan on delivering. I work well in a group that shares these ends and look forward to a career where I can excel in providing leadership and supporting others towards a common goal.
