One project recently completed is the development and implementation of a complex county wide work order management system which allows all county agencies to submit work requests via web services. The work requests are funneled into appropriate work orders with descriptions, schedules, and inventory controls. All processes are interconnected and requestors are informed of status and closure of their requests. Provided training county wide including 70 personnel from agencies including: States Attorney, Courts, Education, Police, Fire, Sheriff, Health and Humans Services, Sanitary, Public Works, Property Management, Rec and Parks, Budget, Vehicle Operations and Maintenance, and County Council.Working on the development of integrating the work order system and a county automated GPS tracking and management system. This will allow work orders to be dispatched to tradesman via Garmin GPS units with optimized route planning and two way communication.
