Developed and maintained Java-based software named Nokia Converged Charging (NCC), a cloud-native 5G charging solution owned by Nokia that provides real-time rating and charging capabilities for communication service providers (CSPs) and enterprises.𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗡𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗡𝗖𝗖):1. Publish support timezone feature: Added support for timezone publishing, which ensures that charging decisions are made based on the time zone of the subscriber.2. Campaign bundle feature: This allows CSPs to create and manage bundles of services with specific start and end dates, subscription periods, and renewal policies. And helped in integrating it with the timezone feature.3. Integration of Recharge Manager Service (RMS) microservice with NCC: Added the ability to save recharge history records and use them to give bonuses to users on certain conditions.4. Update CustomData API feature: Enhanced the patch APIs for an entity named ‘CustomData’ to fix unexpected behaviours and add capabilities making it more robust and flexible.5. NCC decoding tool feature: Developed a Python tool to decode Call Data Record (CDR) in various formats for different clients.𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:• Implemented all changes in accordance with Nokia's coding standards and best practices.• Developed unit tests using JUnit and automation tests using Postman to ensure the correctness of my code.• Reviewed and approved changes made by other developers. • Refactored classes and modules to give them better design and increase the code readability and maintainability. • Worked as part of a team to deliver high-quality software on time and within budget.• Collaborated with the client during requirement gathering, proposing enhancements for new feature functionalities.• Served as a team collaborator by crafting low-level designs for new features and delegating implementation tasks among team members.
