Pursuing a career architecture, I worked for a local general contractor while working on projects with Siegfried Porth of Porth Architects, firm in Easthampton Massachusetts. In the year 2000 I accepted an offer from architect (Bernard M. Schenkelberg) in Springfield, Massachusetts. Mr. Schenkelberg was the master architect in projects such as; The Hilton Garden Inn at the Basket Ball Hall of Fame, Westfield Trial Court, South Hadley Trial Court, The VA Administration Building, and the Social Security Building to name a few. Mr. Schenkelberg was gracious enough to allow my influences in his projects and those influences can be felt throughout each project, bringing energy efficient creative design and value to the table. While attending the B.A.C. (Boston Architectural Center) I established a record with N.C.A.R.B. and completed my internship documentation through I.D.P., currently, I have authorization to take the A.R.E.At an early stage I established a small independent practice in the private sector of residential design with projects spanning from small additions to large custom designed homes. Clients vary from Dentists, Doctors, and Corporate Executives to the common man. Ongoing clients and referrals are a strong indication of the integrity of the projectsA firm point to note is, as a client your are made to feel comfortable and aware of the progress on your project and that the character of your project fits you, the client.
