I am the Deputy Vice President of The Law Society of England and Wales, the representative body for over 200,000 solicitors across England and Wales. I have been a qualified solicitor for over 25 years, dealing with residential and commercial property transactions. I have held several managerial positions in the legal sector.I am a Lecturer at The University of Law, where I teach Real Estate, Private Client, and Professional Skills to aspiring solicitors on various courses in Manchester, Liverpool and Chester. I have been working for the University of Law since 2021 and have been a non-practising solicitor since 2022. I am passionate about supporting and volunteering for the legal profession and the community. I have been a Chair of Governors at both primary and secondary school level and an Assistant Cub Scout Leader. I have been an elected member of the Law Society Council since 2015.
