Reporting to the General Manager and responsible for ensuring that all sites are safely resourced for all processes and lead projects. Ensuring continuous improvement in H&S, GMP and environmental issues and to ensure all policies form part of the culture:Ensure Richards and Appleby meet current legislation requirements concerning Health & Safety Matters and to promote a positive culture throughout the buisness. Chairing H&S meetings at senior management level and to nurture the H&S Committee to meet safety targets.Organise all H&S training for personnel and lead projects as required.To tackle Environmental issues and reduce waste within the company

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager and responsible for 70 production, blending and engineering personnel, producing a turnover of over £8.5 Million per annum. • Introduction of KPI’s• Ensuring production targets are achieved• Production planning• Yield measurement and attainment• Problem solving• Report writing• Data collation• Setting and Achievement of Efficiency targets • To ensure scrap level budgets are maintained• Stock control • Health and safety of all staff is maintained• Risk assessments• Staff training• Staff discipline• Housekeeping• ISO 9001 attainment

Reporting directly to the owner and responsible for the day to day running of the plant to include:-• Ensuring plant runs within budgets• Employment, training and discipline issues of all staff• Ensure HACCP and control procedures are maintained• Ensuring all orders are met within allocated deadlines• To ensure the integrity of all equipment, machinery and buildings are maintained• To ensure food safety is achieved at all times• Ensure all KPI’s are monitored and targets achieved• To liaise between all suppliers and customers• Report writing and formulating various data for management meetings using Microsoft Word and Excel• Chair production meetings• To order all stocks and ensure ingredient costs are kept to a minimum.• Health and Safety• To ensure continuous improvement are implemented to achieve and maintain SALSA accreditation.To ensure good GMP is practiced
