I was a student counsellor and coach between 2005 and 2018 and worked with undergraduates and postgraduates on a 1-2-1 and group basis. In addition I networked widely other academic and professional services across De Montfort University in the provision of coaching training and consultancy. In 2016 a Coaching and Mentoring in Higher Education Conference subgroup formed and I joined the organising committee. The first EMCC in Education H.E. Conference took place at Manchester Metropolitan University in November 2017.
