As Facilities Manager I oversee the work of the Central (Campus) cleaning staff both in term time and during school holiday periods. The Facilities team look after the interior parts of all School buildings except boarding houses, along with unenclosed buildings, paths and steps, and are also responsible for setting up rooms for exams, concerts, lectures and entertaining, and for moving furniture around campus when required. In addition, As FM I co-ordinate orders for cleaning products and cleaning machinery used in these locations. Providing support to Housekeepers ,Domestic teams in the boarding houses and Managing the Schools waste contracts and cleaning contractors. As FM i also manage bookings for some main School premises, day to day school use and holiday events. This process is managed through the School's intranet:The Facilities Manager reports to the Chief operating officer , and is supported by Two Team Leaders. I was a senior store manager with over 10 years experience running a flagship store. In this time I had grown the business continually to achieve record year in 2014 & I have managed a store relocation. My role did require me to mentor new staff such as members of my own regional team at all store levels. I have also had a number of wider responsibilities such as project managing a new store IT system roll out : this included training and support for the London region. As well as this I was responsible for operational excellence in the London region which involved conducting Annual Audits to ensure procedure compliance, providing support, and sharing best practice. I am a highly adaptable individual who is well respected by my colleagues; I am reliable, enthusiastic and self motivated; I work well in a team and enjoy a challenge.
