Manages all activities of the company in Nigeria. I Supervise all personnel and ensure company's mission are achieved-clients satisfaction.

I coordinate Security Risk management processes in the entire Afar region. I liaise with all UN contiguous security risk management areas in the whole of horn of Africa to ensure safety and security in all areas of my operational responsibility. I conduct assessments to determine threats and level of risks faced by UNSMS personnel, premises and operations in all areas of responsibility (AOR) and recommend appropriate security measures to prevent and or mitigate the risk if they occur. Summarily, I identify, recommend and implement measures to reduce the prevention and mitigation vulnerabilities to ensure safety and security of personnel, assets, premises and successful implementation of UN programs including implementing gender-inclusive security risk management processes as required.

Ensuring safety and security of UNFPA personnel, their eligible family members, assets, premises and successful conduct of programmes. Achieved this by maintaining close liaison with government security agencies, professional colleagues in multinational corporations, diplomatic and other UN agencies. I monitor security trend in the country and advise the representative and senior management team members on all safety and security matters. Drafted and coordinated all security management processes as well as emergency management for the entire offices in Nigeria. Since UNFPA main focus is on women and girl-child, I implemented gender-inclusive security risk management processes for the protection of most vulnerable personnel . In 2017, I took a lead in the conduct of first UNFPA West and Central African regional (WCARO) SSAFE training held in Martin Luther Agwai International leadership and peacekeeping center in Jaji, Kaduna state of Nigeria. The training which was attended by UNFPA personnel from the region and personnel from other UNSMS organizations in Nigeria was rated high by UNFPA global chief of security in New York. Besides, I regularly conduct periodic security awareness training for personnel using different methods including tabletop exercises (TTX), simulation developments and classroom lectures to deliver the training. Thus created safe and secure environment for the conduct of UNFPA programmes in the entire country.

As a Surge officer, I worked to ensure the achievement of UNDSS mandate in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. which included coordination of various activities to ensure safety, security and well-being of UN staff members and their eligible dependents, ensure safety of UN assets and premises as well as enable conduct of UN activities in Ethiopia. I participated in series of security training for UNSMS organizations personnel in Ethiopia. As a UN certified SSAFE trainer, In 2018, I facilitated the UNDSS organized SSAFE training for representatives of all UNSMS organizations' personnel in all security areas in Ethiopia. I drafted the area security plan and SRM for Addis Ababa security area. I also jointly conducted hotel assessments in Addis Ababa to identify hotels with required safety and security standards for approval and recommendation for use by UNSMS personnel in the country.

As the first security professional employed in this company: I drafted all security programs. They include country security plan, travel management plan, Facility security specific plan, Business continuity Plan, Minimum operating security standard, guard post order. Vehicle handling instructions and checklists among other plans. I successfully provided safety and security at the multi operational sites in; Abuja, Kano, Dutse, Kano and Lagos states.

As head of investigation and due diligence unit, I coordinated all investigation and due diligence tasks for the clients. I managed deployment and monitoring of security guards of about 1500 guard sites. As Regional Manager, I coordinated all operations and administrative tasks for the company in the whole Northern Nigeria. I successfully ensured clients' satisfaction in the provision of safety and security services as required.

VFS Global is a visa processing company. I was a Deputy security manager for Victoria Island and Ikeja visa processing centers at various times. While there, I was responsible for ensuring security of the organization using electronic means. I adopted systemic approach to ensure achievement of the goal. I utilized physical, Human, technology and procedural methods to ensure safety and security of personnel, VISA applicants and assets.

Due to the incessant terrorists bombing experienced in Lagos and its environs by those opposed to the government of the time, two special operations crack teams were created by Directorate of military intelligence to combat this menace and arrest the perpetrators of the bombings. I was made to lead a team that was charged with this responsibility. My team exhibited professionalism and discharged their duties efficiently and effectively leading to the arrest of the leader of terrorist group.

As a member of Nigerian Army Training Assistance Group (NATAG) to Gambian National Army (GNA). The team re-organized and trained personnel of GNA. After the re-organization phase Military intelligence unit was created in GNA. I was charged with the responsibility of running the affairs of the unit as officer-in-charge. I recruited and trained personnel of GNA who were found to be fit for deployment in intelligence unit. I took charge and coordinated their training, deployment and performance. During my tour of duty, I turned the intelligence branch into a functional, efficient and professional Military intelligence corps of GNA.

I lectured in Nigerian military Intelligence School for a cumulative period of 12 years. During this period, I was a member of Nigerian Army Training Assistance Group (NATAG) to Gambian National Army (GNA). The team re-organized and trained personnel of GNA to become strong Army. After the re-organization phase Military intelligence unit was created in GNA. I was charged with the responsibility of running the affairs of the unit as officer-in-charge. I recruited and trained personnel of GNA who were found to be fit for deployment in intelligence unit. I took charge of their training, deployment and performance evaluations of personnel. During my tour of duty, I turned the intelligence branch into a functional, efficient and professional Military intelligence corps of GNA. On my return from Gambia in 1994, I was seconded to the office of Honorable Minister of Petroleum Resources (HMPR) as Adviser on security matters (1995-1996). I was granted leave of absence by Nigerian Army headquarters to pursue University degree program at Nigeria's premier university, the University of Ibadan in 2001. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology (2001) with honors and a Master of Science degree in Criminology (2002-2003). Between June 2005 and August 2006, I was deployed to serve in United Nations mission in Liberia (UNMIL) as the deputy military information officer for Sector-1. On my return, I was deployed at Nigerian Army Presidential guards Brigade intelligence unit as operations officer. Finally, I voluntarily retired from Nigerian Army in 2007.
