In 2017, I took a lead in the conduct of first UNFPA West and Central African regional (WCARO) SSAFE training held in Martin Luther Agwai International leadership and peacekeeping center in Jaji, Kaduna state of Nigeria. During my tour of duty, I turned the intelligence branch into a functional, efficient and professional Military intelligence corps of GNA. On my return from Gambia in 1994, I was seconded to the office of Honorable Minister of Petroleum Resources (HMPR) as Adviser on security matters (1995-1996). I was granted leave of absence by Nigerian Army headquarters to pursue University degree program at Nigeria's premier university, the University of Ibadan in 2001. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology (2001) with honors and a Master of Science degree in Criminology (2002-2003). Between June 2005 and August 2006, I was deployed to serve in United Nations mission in Liberia (UNMIL) as the deputy military information officer for Sector-1. On my return, I was deployed at Nigerian Army Presidential guards Brigade intelligence unit as operations officer. Finally, I voluntarily retired from Nigerian Army in 2007.
