Developer, Tech Enthusiast, Critical Thinker, Team PlayerAs a software engineer who graduated from UCLA studying Computer Science, I continuously pursue opportunities within my community to broaden my knowledge of various fields and grow as both an individual and member of society. I strive in diverse communities and always seek to meet new people and participate in conversations about challenging, critical, and important issues within the local and global communities. Communication is key in progressing society towards a brighter future and is a skill I continue to perfect. For years I have been greatly involved in giving back to my community, and have successfully done so through educating others. In my mind, the most effective way to solidify one's knowledge of a topic is to teach it, which I concurrently find very fulfilling to the soul. Subsequently, my involvement as an instructor and tutor have allowed me to develop the technical and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate information to others and ensure the success of the students I have taught. Within my community at UCLA, I served as a captain and the President of UCLA's Men's Club Ultimate Frisbee Team, and constantly utilized my competitive mindset to be my best self. Throughout the academic year, I traveled across the state and out of state to participate in high level competitions against universities across the country, upholding the principles of community, inclusiveness, and respect at the core of the sport. No matter the task at hand, I made sure to give it my full effort and aim for perfection, whilst supporting and motivating those around me as we strove to accomplish the mission at hand.
