Work in this role focused on implementation and integration of information and process management products for CGI, focusing on OpenText products, especially Content Server and Microsoft SharePoint.The role allowed me to work in a number of areas: pre-sales, preparation of proposals, estimating, solution and technical architecture, integration and customisation of the various products used, business analysis, documentation and training.

The Senior Consultant position reported to the Southern Regional Practice Leader, responsible for consulting activities in Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia. The position included consulting with customer pre and post sale, as well as the implementation of the Objective product suite. The position reported in to the Scientific Affairs Manager, who was responsible for product registration and medical information activities globally. The position was responsible for providing the information technology systems to support these global activities, for both regulatory and medical information, including adverse reaction reporting.Key responsibilities included:* Management of projects in regulatory and medical information groups,* Development and management of over twenty staff, and* Forecasting and control of $800,000 operating budget, capital expenditure budget of $1,000,000.
