Southern Company Plant Gorgas Baghouse Project (3 Coal-fired units, 1021 MW Total)The project consisted of a 2 casing, 20 compartment pulse jet fabric filter (PJFF) baghouse, two (2) 2,200,000 CFM two stage axial booster fans, booster fan inlet and outlet dampers, one (1) activated carbon injection (ACI) system, one (1) lime injection system, one (1) ash byproduct system) and for WorleyParsons to design all of the supporting equipment and systems including the following mechanical items: 44’ x 27’ flue gas ductwork, horizontal pumps, sump pumps, agitators, piping, valves, ductwork and piping expansion joints, maintenance platforms, 40 ton booster fan motor hoists, 10 ton booster fan hub bridge crane, potable water system including emergency showers and eye/face washes, service water system, service air and instrument air system, waste water system, HVAC system, fire protection system, seal air system, sanitary system, and vacuum system.Completed the Southern Company Plant Scherer Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) Addition Project (4 x 923 MW Coal-fired Units)
