I represent local and national businesses, school boards and a wide range of professionals including accountants, lawyers, and financial advisors. I recently represented five high school coaches sued after one of their football players died of heat stroke, in a case that received national media attention. I obtained summary judgment for a CPA firm in a 40 million dollar malpractice case, and the ruling was affirmed by the Kentucky Supreme Court. I defended a local school board in a Title IX case, which received national media coverage. I have defended clients in jury trials, in cases involving defamation, malicious prosecution, civil rights and personal injury.I also assist a number of business clients with succession planning, acquisitions and day to day business issues. Prior to joining McBrayer, I was a Director at Middleton Reutlinger for over 30 years, Fresh out of law school, I served for four years as a Navy lawyer in San Diego, California and the Republic of the Philippines. I tried cases in interesting venues such as on board the U.S.S. America, and a the Navy Support Facility in Diego Garcia. My wife Ann and I are life long residents of Louisville, and proud of four great children and one grandchild!
