Hired as an IT Manager. Re-badged from Transamerica to TCS as part of a TPA arrangement between the two organizations.As part of my re-badged employment transition from Transamerica to TCS, I assumed the role of IT Manager continuing the same work within the Transamerica environment. Continued to support teams to administer in-house mainframe and server applications along with the assuming the role of LifeComm IT Manager and managing an LTC support team for a period of time.

Implemented PCI Encryption process for the credit card business maintaining, designing and implementing subsequent upgrades.

Moved to the Operations group under the Application Services area for a brief period to manage a new Production Support team supporting a large number of different insurance applications. Worked on successfully standing up this new Production Support team to start providing various levels of support, including consistent coordination and communication associated with high and critical priority production incidents and other important activities.

Designed, managed, and helped to develop major system changes to the rate increase functionality for the Medicare Supplement products administered in one of the key administration systems. The implementation of new business rules to satisfy state requirements and the ability to correctly apply rate increases after a 1-year rate guarantee period was completed to increase revenue. Also worked on a large effort to develop a whole new Informatica process to manage the processing of HIPAA ‘837’ claims files.
