I was directly responsible for the overall concept and strategy, including the financial & investor road show in securing an underwriter for the acquisitions of 25 dental healthcare businesses. The investor base was managed by Lodge Partners together with a group of Swiss Investors from a previous public company I was involved with.Each of the acquisitioned businesses had been operating for more than 20 years in Australia. All combined led to Australia’s largest and first Public listed Dental Business at that time.Pearl was created with solid marketing initiatives combined with a strong sales plan, with almost three years of strategy and planning that led to a significant capture of a 2.1 Billion (Aus) Market Sector.After identifying the opportunity the project was managed through an acquisition strategy over a 2-3 year development leading up to the successful listing and securing of $22 Million AUD:Australian Stock Exchange in November 2002’ (ASX-PUL).After sourcing the board composition, I stayed on for another year to assist in the transition with cultural issues together with bedding down the many acquisitions together with the international relationships with the US and Swiss groups.

Prior to Pearl, I had spent many successful years in the Telecommunications, Media and Software arena in the capacity of Managing Director, each business required to be re-positioned and gain internal efficiencies, transition via IPO process, gain new revenue streams both organically and Acquisitive; build brand strategies nationally; manage product & licensing development; asset utilisation, return on capital and supply chain efficiency, compliance and regulatory to meet the strict guidelines and requirements of ASX & ASIC. Pulsat was a wireless Broadband solutions company (ahead of its time) offering internet access to regional and metro areas within its own network. The company secured substantial relationships with other carriers to deliver broadband connectivity to regional & some Metro areas. Pulsat took advantage of the timing with the telecommunications deregulated market in 97',The Plan was born out of a mining company then listed on the WA stock exchange, Pulsat soon after secured a carriers licence to own and operate its own network. Pulsat secured contracts with government departments and regional networks to assist with its growth, the company soon required the need to work towards an ISO 9001 plan that became active by 2000’. During the demise of the telecommunications and internet time Circa 2001'+, Pulsat managed to sell its network for fair value and use the Listed entity for other sector interests ensuring current investor value and go onto other exciting projects.
