Provide leadership for/supervision of Business Banking Credit Center Personnel. Specifically, responsible for the items and personnel considered Specialty Credit within the Business Banking Group including Investment Real Estate, Construction, and SBA.• Manage team’s overall production and act as primary decision-maker for Specialty Credits.• Lead Specialty Credit and overall Business Banking Credit Center teams (6 direct/10 indirect reports). Accountable for the following daily facets, occurring in an environment, that is typically demanding and extremely time sensitive.o Maintain integrity of credit process with continual attention to building/maintaining relationships with the field, analysts and other cross-functional team members.o Provide constant cross-functional team coordination, discussion, presentation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.o Manage timeline and negotiation to maintain agreed-upon schedule which involves understanding the priorities of each credit request, requirements of the field, and assessment of the scope.o Perform consistent risk assessment for each submitted request and ensure team members apply risk appropriately. Hold ultimate responsible for the risk accepted by the Bank.o Coach all credit personnel/field in assigned areas, e.g. appropriate financial assessments and interpretation, data organization, presentation topics, and scope analysis for credit requests.o Make decisions within individual/specialty authorities.o Reward/motivate employees for quality work/timelines achieved.

Responsible for Business Banking credits greater than $1MM in exposure. Portfolio Manager will provide credit approval support and service assigned client relationships in partnership with assigned Business Banking Officers. Provides credit support on deal teams, collaborating, structuring and generating solutions. Portfolio manager will assist in upcoming maturities, past dues, collection of financials and clearing if exceptions. Also serves as ICRE approving body within the Business Banking Group via mentorship and guidance on ICRE Credit analysis for all Business Banking & Small Business Underwriters.

Primary responsibilities include mortgage and consumer lending originations (taking a loan from start to finish). This role includes almost every aspect of lending, providing experiences in the following loan aspects: origination, credit analysis and underwriting, loan approval and processing as well as closing. Secondary duties include: customer service, cross-selling bank products, employee support & collections.

Provide leadership and direction for a 10-person branch team to achieve sales, service, and customer satisfaction objectives. Act as coach and mentor to branch sales staff by supporting and enhancing company sales programs and objectives. Areas of focus include: deposit acquisition, lending and investment referrals, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Assist in the management a 27-hole private golf facility. Role contains a very strong emphasis on customer service to the private membership, guests, and families.

Manage and lead a team of unionized employees through daily meetings, scheduling, training, and safety compliance. Also, address all personnel issues while simultaneously handling the audit processes. Analyze and research audit production fluctuations and customer inquiries. Communicate and explain production statistics to Operations Managers as well as other corporate management personnel.
