I have worked as a medicinal chemist at Merck for 27 years. I have broad experience in oncology, infectious disease, and neuroscience, and extensive knowledge of preclinical and early clinical drug development. I have a proven track record for delivering quality clinical candidates to Merck's development pipeline. My accomplishments at Merck include leading the Team that designed and developed Ubrelvy (ubrogepant) and Qulipta (atogepant) for the treatment and prevention of migraine, respectively. Ubrelvy is the first small molecule CGRP receptor antagonist (and first orally active Family B GPCR antagonist) to be approved as a drug.
