Works with outside service providers on all quality-related and production issues. Maintains required quality records and interfaces with department representatives on internal and supplier issues. Performs annual supplier evaluations. Participates in continuous improvement projects. Chairs the Material Review Board and Management Review meetings. Conducts both internal and external audits for QMS management and process improvement. Represents the company when dealing with regulatory agencies (FAA, DCMA, FDA, DEQ, OSHA, etc.) Receives and evaluates Returned Goods/Customer Complaints and Change ActionRequests (CARs). Assigns CARs to owner and ensures appropriate resolution. Inspects parts, materials, and articles as required. Develops and delivers required training.
