Responsible for the purchase of all raw materials and equipment;• Assessing and reviewing all procurement requriments with MaterialsManagement and Engineering Department• Review and advise on specifications for equipment, materials and supplies tobe purchased• Submit tenders and consult with suppliers• Site visits with vendors and negotiations prior to awarding contracts• Review quotations and determine contract / purchase order terms andconditions• Review purchase orders and establish delivery terms• Monitor purchase orders and contact suppliers to resolve and outstandingissues• Prepare and submit monthly reports to Materials Management for review

Responsible for all stores related activities including (but not limited to);• Inventory control• Min/max overview in stores and in aircraft hangar• Issues and receiptsSolely responsible for all aircraft component purchases, vendor negotiations, RFQ’sand order follow up.Weekly review and subsequent authorization of vendor invoices.

Responsible for the procurement of all electronic components, specificallysemiconductors and passives used in the manufacture of end product.Compilation of MRP report (SYSPRO Database), and determination of componentsto reorder.Creating RFQ’s using Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel.Maintaining inventory levels (min/max levels) to assure optimum inventory turnsratio.Negotiations with suppliers regarding pricing and delivery issues.Sourcing hard to find parts through various channels in the industry.Maintaining good relations with suppliers through implementation of a SupplyChain Management strategy.Basic knowledge of semiconductor and passives properties; pin outs, resistance,values, part number configurations, alternate manufacturer’s part number cross,component packaging (SMT; 1206,08050,0603 etc)Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office including;Word, Excel and Access.Member of Occupational Health & Safety Committee.
