Mark has a renowned reputation and over 20 years of experience teaching skiing full time in Chamonix, France. Mark's Background:Mark first worked as a ski instructor at the young age of 16 on a dry ski slope in Essex. Passionate about teaching skiing and at the age of 22, Mark moved to Chamonix in the French Alps with one goal in mind - to become fully qualified to teach skiing in France. At the time, there were only a few British ski instructors who had done this. After a few years of training and rigorous ski instructor exams, Mark became the first BASI qualified ski instructor to earn the right to teach skiing for a French ski school in the resort of Chamonix (Year 2000). Mark then worked the following two winter seasons as a full time ski instructor at the Evolution 2 ski school.Mark went on to complete his full International ski instructor diploma in 2003, passing the giant slalom Euro-test in Alpes d'huez. This enabled Mark to gain his full French equivalence (1er Degree ski Alpin) and Carte Professionnelle which is needed to work as an independent ski instructor in France.Mark founded All Mountain Performance in 2004 specialising in off-piste performance ski courses for intermediate, advanced and expert level skiers. Over the years, Mark has helped thousands of people improve and develop their skiing and has an enormous amount of experience teaching intermediate, advanced and expert level skiers. He is just as happy teaching beginners but tends to get booked up well in advance by experienced skiers looking to fine tune their skills on and off-piste. As well as teaching skiing to the recreational public, Mark also has vast experience coaching other qualifying ski instructors to pass their exams as well as coaching other mountain professionals and high level skiers.
