I have greatly enjoyed my time with Freightliner as they have allowed me to develop on from the passenger railway experience that I brought over from Northern rail, and as it was before First North Western. They trained me on both diesel and electric loco's which was put to use servicing the TPE contract operating their class 185, and 350 units in service. Since then they have continued to let me develop first as a mentor, and then as a driver assessor.One other note about the railway industry as a whole that I have found is that right from the start it has been fully supportive of all the voluntary roles I have held over the years.
