CurrentThe Vice President, Member Engagementhas primary responsibility for a team that combines four mission-critical functions within CMAA. They are:* Meetings & Events* Communications* Marketing* MembershipThe Vice President is responsible for the following activities relative to these functions:1. Work collaboratively with the CMAA staff and volunteer leadership in setting strategic direction for all CMAA events, communications, marketing, and membership activities.a. Ensure that CMAA activities related to communicating CMAA messages, positions, and brand are aligned with organizational and programmatic objectives.b. Ensure that CMAA activities related to marketing CMAA programs, products, and services support organizational objectives for success.c. Ensure that CMAA activities related to increasing CMAA’s membership support organizational objectives for growth and engagement.d. Ensure that CMAA events are prepared to achieve success in annual programming, operations, and experience.2. Oversee preparation of annual plans for each area that includes goals, objectives, timelines, tools, and evaluative criteria.3. Participate as a member of the senior leadership team, contributing to development of strategy and annual organizational goals and budgets.4. Serve as primary point of contact for public and media relations, including acting when appropriate as spokesperson for CMAA for attribution in trade and general media.5. Direct CMAA advertising, sponsorship, and engagement with other organizations.6. Oversee sales and sponsorship activities in support of CMAA programs, products, services, and events.7. Oversee the operations of the CMAA website, including website functionality, appearance, and content, along with management of the CMAA online community.8. Monitor CMAA’s social media presence.9. Oversee activities of consultants or contractors that support activities within the team.
