I am a self-motivated and innovative professional executive and manager, with over 25 years’ experience in the charitable heritage and learning sector. I am currently the Centre Manager at the Dean Heritage Centre, taking the operational lead and developing a strategic development plan.I am Co-Chair and a Director of the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley Tourist DMO, and Chair of the Our Forest Leadership Committee.I also have experience in setting up entrepreneurial micro-businesses, was a Director of an Ecovillage CIC and I have been the Chief Executive of a heritage charity. I have also run my own consultancy advising visitor attractions and museums on how best to explore business opportunities, and maximise income.Prior to this I spent over 16 years with the National Trust, Europe’s largest Heritage charity. I led customer-focussed teams at multiple heritage sites. I also have set up and managed formal and informal learning programmes, as well as leading on the programming of events and exhibitions.
