Line management· Originally establishing the new CRM IWM Securities-Backed Lending organization consisting of 2 sectors covering flow as well as structured Lombard transactions, booked in Switzerland consisting of 32 employees including 2 direct reports· After organizational transformation in 2019 assuming responsibility of 35 employees, whereof 5 direct reports, within the above area, including hiring, onboarding, training of employees with varying level of seniority along with management responsibility for performance appraisals and personal development plans· Ensuring effective execution of management controls· Point of contact for control functions such as internal Audit, external Audit (KPMG) and regulators (Finma)Credit Assessment and implementation· Broader management oversight to ensure the provision of a comprehensive, second line of defense analysis and challenge of complex credit requests· Assessing non-standard, collateralized (i.e. Lombard) transactions from international private banking clients (HNWI/UHNWI), specifically large exposures, concentrated/single-stock lending, derivatives, complex pledging structures and other special cases· Making credit decisions within own ad-personam credit competence or preparing and submitting proposals to a higher credit authority, frequently the Divisional Chief Credit Officer (IWM) or previously the Chief Credit Officer Switzerland· Ensuring ongoing, proactive monitoring of credit exposure using transaction-specific and/or standard monitoring tools· Maintain and develop, including regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, frameworks etc.· Close collaboration with 1st Line of Defense (International Trading Solutions) on transactions as well as frequent scheduled risk and oversight meetingsProjects· Implementation of framework for CRM IWM to address policy violations to front office· Key input provider for “Fundamental Review of the LTV Framework” and development of new “Strategic LTV Engine”
