Chairman of the IATA committee comprised of 12 air carrier members privileged to work directly with committees comprised of Designated Postal Operator members of the Universal Postal Union to continually enhance and adapt worldwide postal services to meet the continually evolving needs of postal customers and their mailed shipments. Invited to deliver presentations on topics relevant to developments concerning mail and express shipments on six occasions at the annual IATA World Cargo Symposium.

Responsible for the strategic and tactical marketing of air transportation of mail shipments to a customer base comprised of various Designated Postal Operators from the countries served by American Airlines to destinations throughout the American Airlines worldwide network. Successfully negotiated mail codeshare agreements partnering with seven other carriers to mutually expand the scope of our combined networks to increase revenue generation. Served as Chairman of the IATA Air Mail Panel since 2008 and co-Chairman of the joint IATA/UPU Electronic Data Interchange User Group to steer initiatives having goals of improved transport reliability, better product visibility for customers through standards and technology, and paperless manifesting of mail transport.

Led a team of regional sales managers responsible for the marketing of air transportation of domestic and international mail shipments to a customer base comprised of various Postal Administrations from the countries served by TWA to worldwide destinations. Successfully negotiated mail codeshare agreements partnering with four other carriers to expand the network and increase revenue generation. Served as chairman of the Air Transport Association of America Postal Advisory Committee to help steer industry policy and initiatives to advance modernization of air mail transportation through better controls and product visibility through technology.

Managed air carrier opertions at Denver, an extremely large airport with operations spread over many kilometers. Revised work plans and schedules resulting in reduce costs and overtime expenses. Created and implemented strategies for improved overall performance metrics through elimination of legacy inefficiencies.
