The division brings together an end-to-end supply chain management function from demand planning through to warehousing and distribution into a single integrated Division. My initial role was to set up the human resources structure and the financial structure (including the creation of new cost centres and internal order numbers) as per the project plan for the Queensland Government Critical Supply Reserve (QGCSR) and to bring together existing areas with a total MOHRI of 828.My ongoing role includes constant communication with the project leads regarding their needs for the project and general assistance to all staff within the division on HR, Financial and IT matters. Day to day supervision of a Business Support team overseeing a fast pace environment, assisting with a large recruitment project whilst adapting to an ever changing recruitment policy, HR paperwork to onboard new staff and to extend work arrangements of current staff, assisting with new contracts and extensions of existing contracts, daily payments of invoices, monthly budget reporting, budget and forecast loads, and adhoc reporting on a monthly or quarterly basis.
