Brewing Raw Materials• Work with the Brewing Leadership & Procurement Brewing Raw materials teams for the development of a Brewing Raw material strategy for CUB by engaging with both internal and external customers & stakeholders (includes Group Technical & Hub)• Develop and lead strategy for step-change improvement in quality performance of key brewing raw materials- Malt- Adjunct- Hops• Manage the approval of raw materials for CUB and ensure SABM standards are met• Manage the raw material supplier audit program in alignment with SABM standards• Manage research and development programs for key raw materials (Hops, Barley)Value Engineering and Innovation• Identify with procurement opportunities for Value Engineering in the Brewing Raw Materials area• Manage Brewing Raw material VE projects at a national level• Identify opportunities for raw material led innovations (Hops, Malt, yeast)R & D• Design and monitor regional campus projects in alignment with CUB Brewing strategy• Ensure campus project learning’s / outcomes are shared across CUB/SABM network• Working with external technology companies and universities to ensure that CUB/SABMiller has early sight of new technologies and ensuring ‘proof of concept’ technology can be evaluated

Team management• Manage team for best performance Build high performance culture Complete 1:1’s and performance reviews Implement team structuresProduct Performance:• Develop and implement strategies that drive best-practice Beverage product performance at production sites.• Externally benchmark CUB’s beverage performance to maintain a competitive advantage• Assist production sites to achieve best practice by supporting site improvement plans: Establish and maintain review mechanisms for beverage performance, e.g., Right First Time Share objectives with production sites and support them to achieve these objectives, e.g, Dissolved oxygen reductionTechnical Support• Provide technical support to the production sites : Support production sites in meeting technical standards/processes (internal and license brewing) Provide the escalation mechanism for resolving technical issues Work with sites to close-out Corrective innovation requests (CIRs)Raw Material Optimisation:• Support Procurement in developing a strategy for optimising beverage raw materials: Develop optimisation plans in conjunction with Procurement and sites Own the technical approval of materials. Manage selection and evaluation of new barley varieties
