Mark is a highly motivated, enthusiastic hotel sales professional with more than 30 years experience in hotel sales & marketing, meetings & convention management and operations.His diverse experience has helped him build a unique skill set. His objective is to create effective solutions for his client's programs and events. He enjoys putting his knowledge and connections to work for all his clients and hotel partners.Since moving to London from Manchester in 1989, the bulk of his experience has been focused on hotel sales in various market segments and territories across the country. Positions have included head of MICE Sales for Thistle Hotels and Operations Manager at the Selfridges Hotel. He has had the opportunity to work in The Savoy for 5 years on a training program which focused on meetings and events and has run the UK Sales office for three luxury brands looking after all market segments.Mark is very creative and developed the industry-leading education and customer interaction event called the Global Meeting Exchange at FRHI.
