I am the Head Professional at Machynys Peninsula a Nicklaus Design Resort Course .My current role is of Head Professional and Director of Instruction at the national Centre of Excellence I have recently been awarded the fellowship of the PGA status in recognition of my record of developing players through to elite performers at both amateur and professional levels.I offer the highest of level of coaching with experience of working with the complete beginner through to working and developing the games of county , international and professional golfers with great success.I have achieved this by studying the game of golf and performance over the last 20 years working alongside world leaders in their field , I have therefore developed a holistic approach to golf ,I now impart this approach to my pupils always developing the many different areas that lead to peak performance I also manage the Golf Academy and centre of Excellence at Machynys , I have worked hard on developing the academy to now offer the most extensive custom fitting service through the use of Trackman launch monitor technology , this means I can offer the most accurate fitting possible which has resulted in achieving gold status for outstanding service .I developed the Machynys junior School of golf Programme with over 100 children participating weekly in the coaching programme with structured learning and development for each junior through my personalised junior structure .I was selected to coach the Glamorgan u16 squads in 2012 which was a fantastic opportunity, the next year I was selected to coach the Glamorgan Mens Squad which is my current role for Glamorgan , I enjoy this position greatly, the role allows me to work with some of the countries top players .I founded an Elite Performance Squad which consists of 12 of the most talented players that I coach , I have built a team of mentors to work with the squad ranging from strength and mobility coaches and sports Psychologists .
