As Director of Operations at GAV and Torpedo Factory I was responsible for the delivery of audio visual services to a wide range of customers throughout the United Kingdom and abroad. It was my responsibility to ensure that every customer received the best possible standard of quality and service for their events, conferences and presentations. In AV hire and technical support you only get one chance to get it right. It was my job to ensure we got it right every time.

1991-1993: worked part time learning the industry alongside continuing my education.1993-2001: took full time position as Hire Manager and grew the rental business six fold until its acquisition by Phenomenon Group in 2001.2001-2004: became Operations Manager and continued to assist with the growth of the rental business in addition to the operational development of the company following various acquisitions. My work included the improvement of systems and procedures as well as assisting with health and safety development.2004-2009: I became Operations Director, taking responsibility for 75% of the workforce and continuing to oversee operational development. I left full time employment with the company in April 2009 to develop business in the Thames Valley area and set up a new business to complement the AV services industry.
