My current service in the Federal Government within NOAA includes the roles as Bureau Chief Privacy Officer (BCPO) as well as FOIA Officer. Between the two hats, I serve as the Senior Bureau Official for records disclosure under 5 USC 552 as well as for the Bureau-level review and approval of Privacy Impact Assessments, SORN reviews, and Privacy Act compliance for all FISMA Systems within NOAA. The foundation for my current service was built on my experience as a private practice litigation attorney, as well as my service at previous Federal agencies, including Homeland Security and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.I also am proud to concurrently serve in the US Air Force Reserves as an officer within the Medical Services Corps, as a Health Services Administrator. I serve as the Executive Officer within the 459th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, in the 459th Air Refueling Wing, at Joint Base Andrews, as well as the OIC for Readiness. As a Health Services Administrator (AFSC 41A1), I work within the Ground Training Team to ensure training and readiness within the squadron. This includes Aeromedical Evacuation Operation Team (AEOT) Missions, launch, and recovery. AEOT Missions prepare, organize, and lead the medical team, equipment, and personnel to set up a medical facility on the KC-135, C-130, and C-17 aircraft. This also includes patient tracking through the online patient system (TRAC2ES) for continuity of care upon transfer, and receiving patients for in flight medical treatment during transport to the next echelon of care. -
