My current service in the Federal Government within NOAA includes the roles as Bureau Chief Privacy Officer (BCPO) as well as FOIA Officer. Between the two hats, I serve as the Senior Bureau Official for records disclosure under 5 USC 552 as well as for the Bureau-level review and approval of Privacy Impact Assessments, SORN reviews, and Privacy Act compliance for all FISMA Systems within NOAA. The foundation for my current service was built on my experience as a private practice litigation attorney, as well as my service at previous Federal agencies, including Homeland Security and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.I also am proud to concurrently serve in the US Air Force Reserves as an officer within the Medical Services Corps, as a Health Services Administrator. I serve as the Executive Officer within the 459th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, in the 459th Air Refueling Wing, at Joint Base Andrews, as well as the OIC for Readiness. I am the FOIA Officer serving as the bureau's denying official under 15 CFR Part 4 responsible for the FOIA activities within the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. I am located within the Office of the Chief Information Officer and I currently serve on the FOIA best practices working group for the Department of Commerce. This includes oversight of the PTA, PIA, and SORN formulation and reviews, Privacy Statement compliance, Privacy Policy promulgation, and Privacy Incident guidance, as well as Data Loss Prevention strategy planning.

I serve as an Officer in the Medical Services Corps within the 459th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron in the 459th Air Refueling Wing. As a Health Services Administrator (AFSC 41A1), I work within the Ground Training Team to ensure training and readiness within the squadron. This includes Aeromedical Evacuation Operation Team (AEOT) Missions, launch, and recovery. AEOT Missions prepare, organize, and lead the medical team, equipment, and personnel to set up a medical facility on the KC-135, C-130, and C-17 aircraft.
