At Energy Saving Trust, I lead our work on the Transport Decarbonisation: Local Authority Toolkit and support local authorities across the South East to decarbonise transport, improve air quality and increase electric vehicle adoption as part of the Local Government Support Programme.An experienced communicator specialising in low carbon transport, I have a strong background in climate change and climate adaptation, having worked across a variety climate change projects over the last 10 years. During my time with Kent County Council I delivered community visioning exercises to deprived coastal areas in Kent and working across 5 different EU-funded climate change projects simultaneously.I developed a specialism in low carbon transport at Wealden District Council where he led on the development of the councils EV Chargepoint procurement project, developed an emissions reporting methodology and reviewed the staff travel plan before moving to Energy Saving Trust.Throughout my career, I have worked with stakeholders across local government and gained experience in communicating complex information, as well as presenting to diverse audiences including elected members from UK and international local authorities.
