A four-month internship that provided an introduction to the Financial Planning Profession. Worked closely with Financial Advisor Joshua W. Tschirgi, CFP. This was a working internship that provided me an intimate glimpse into the day-to-day world of a Financial Planner and helped me understand the skills necessary to work in the profession. As there are many roles and responsibilities, I obtained experience in marketing and business development and obtained initial insurance licensing as part of the experience. Responsibilities: Marketing - Helped to schedule meetings with new investors for the FABusiness Development Tasks - Learned how to prospect for new investors Operations - Coordinated the delivery and execution of required client documents Accomplishments: Developed relationships that led to three separate and distinct transactions for Financial AdvisorObtained Oregon Insurance License as a producer for Life, Accident, & Health
