I learned very early in my professional career that I thoroughly enjoy interacting with people. I love getting to know them, getting to understand what excites them and what drives them the most. Through this, I've developed a strong ability to connect with people and to ask thoughtful and meaningful questions of clients while laying the foundation for the creation of innovative solutions to everyday problems. The drive to connect with people, my entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen has led me to my current position as a Project Engineer. In this role, I have responsibilities on both the operational and business development side of the organization. In the day-to-day operations of the organization, this role keeps me continually connected with colleagues and clients across many service areas providing innovative solutions to everyday problems while looking into the future to develop strategies to identify and address the problems of tomorrow. I have enjoyed several rewarding positions throughout my professional career. I've been in the trenches on hundreds of construction projects throughout Atlantic Canada. I've made presentations to City Councils, Politicians and C-suite executives. And I've had Christmas cookies at a dining room table with one of Canada's most successful businessman while discussing the scope of an upcoming project. Every one of these positions has shaped me personally and professionally. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. Together, we spend many hours in our kitchen where we all share a common love for food and connecting with friends and family. I spend a lot of time reading. I often have 2 - 3 books on my bedside table. I also volunteer with APEGNB and PMI-NB where I am afforded the opportunity to interact and connect with people throughout the organizations.
