Mark is a Manufacturing Engineer looking after the Rotor and Stator manufacture on the new E Drive unit manufactured at Halewood, LiverpoolHe has previously held the position of Stand in Senior Engineer for the Assembly Team at Ford Halewood Transmissions LTD. He lead a team on Engineers who oversee the B6+, MT82 and AWD Transmission Assembly lines. These transmissions are fitted into several Ford vehicles including Fiesta, Focus, Mondeo, Transit Connect and Transit Van. Mark has worked his way up from area maintenance to his current role as Senior Engineer. He holds a BENG Hons Degree in Manufacturing Engineering and is currently undertaking a Level 4 Process Leadership Apprenticeship with Ivy House and the Opportunity Group. Within his current role as Senior Engineer for the Assembly team Mark undertakes a number of tasks including, keeping track of budgets and roadmaps, conducting quality and safety audits, monitoring progress against targets and deadlines, overseeing and running cost saving projects, creating yearly objectives for the assembly engineers, mentoring and monthly 121 sessions with 360° feedback. He is a dedicated family man and loves spending quality time with his family on days out and on holidays. Being in the outdoors either mountain walking, cycling, or recently taking part in a 5k park run he is in his element. Supporting his children’s education as they progress through College and University is a current priority
